The Plymouth Herald reports on the demonstration due to take place in Plymouth on 27 June, where Plymouth poet laureate Michael Sullivan will speak at a protest against education funding cuts.

HUNDREDS of people from across the South West are expected to join protests in Plymouth city centre to protest about funding cuts to further education and adult learning.
The rally, on Saturday, June 27, is organised by the University and College Union (UCU) and supported by City College Plymouth.
It will be held on the piazza outside the Civic Centre, in Royal Parade, from noon.
